Recognised Certification Body (RCB) for Japan
All telecommunications, consumer electronics and radio products to be placed on the Japanes market must meet the specifications defined in the Radio Law (JRL) and/or the Telecommunications Business Law (TBL). The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is responsible for enforcing this legislation. In addition to the JRL and TBL standards, the MIC also defines further requirements on a regular basis by means of cabinet resolutions and government ordinances. Devices must meet these additional requirements in order to gain approval.
Under the EU-Japanese Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), EMCCert DR. RAŠEK is recognised as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and is authorised as a Recognised Certification Body (RCB) to provide certification on behalf of the MIC.
EMCCert DR. RAŠEK offers MIC-approved certification in accordance with the provisions of Articles 38-2-2 (1) i), ii), iii) of the Japanese Radio Law for all specified radio products.
EMCCert DR. RAŠEK also offers expert advice on approval according to TBL.
