EMCCons DR. RAŠEK - Accredited Test Labs
The test laboratory EMCCons DR. RAŠEK, one of the world's best privately owned test houses, is at home at two sites close to Ebermannstadt in Northern Bavaria, Germany:- Moggast: Labs I, II, III with EMC and lightning laboratories
- Unterleinleiter: Labs IV, V and VI with RF, environment, safety and calibration laboratories
The main building in Moggast with labs I, II and III includes a circular covered 40 m Open Area Test Site (OATS). This construction accepts vehicles, systems and equipment up to 12 m length, 4 m width and 3 m height and a weight of up to 70 tons. Further the upper floor houses multiple shielded rooms and offices. The lower floor houses multiple shielded rooms and anechoic chambers, workshops and laboratories. Additional buildings include a dielectric high voltage lab, made of wood and plastics, only.
The main building in Unterleinleiter (labs IV and V) with a hall of 28 m x 23 m x 9 m, houses two Semi-Anechoic Chambers (SAC), one Fully-Anechoic Chamber (FAC), a GTEM-cell and several shielded rooms. The environment and safety labs and the offices are located in adjacent areas. Close by, embedded in a natural reserve area, is an additional Open Area Test Site (OATS) with antenna calibration field, including a unique 50 m underground laboratory (Lab VI).
The infrastructure, instruments and equipment at all laboratory sites are high end, state of the art technology and cover time domain and frequency domain measurements from DC to 325 GHz for both emission and susceptibility. EMCCons DR. RAŠEK owns more than 3.500 test instruments for RADIO, EMC, ESD, EED, LEMP, NEMP, HIRF, HERF, HPM, RADHAZ, TEMPEST, HERO, SHIELD ATTENUATION, RF ABSORPTION and REFLEXION tests as well as for the investigation of electrical SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS including HALT and HASS.
The test laboratory is respected by industry, courts, authorities and approval societies and well known for precise results. It is EBA and FCC to VCCI listed, accredited by A2LA and DAkkS and designated by KBA for an impressive number and quality of RF, EMC, SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL tests. The laboratory operates in close co-operation with the world-wide accepted certification institute EMCCert DR. RAŠEK which - among others - is a designated CE-Notified Body according to the European Union Directives for EMC and Radio & Telecommunications Terminal Equipment, as well as a Conformity Assessment and Certification Body (CAB/ TCB) for Canada, Japan and USA.

ISO/IEC 17025 is the standard which describes general requirements on the competence of test
laboratories and calibration laboratories. Operation of the EMCCons DR. RAŠEK laboratories according to ISO/IEC 17025 does include
ISO 9001 as well. The test Laboratories EMCCons DR. RAŠEK are regarding ISO/IEC 17025 as a minimum quality
criterion for their activities.
