EMCCert DR. RAŠEK ISSUES CONFORMITY STATEMENTS PER ANNEX III OF THE EMC DIRECTIVE 2004/108/EC.
EMCC DR. RAŠEK was nominated one of the first
NATIONAL COMPETENT BODIES under the European EMC Directive
89/336/EEC.
The Certification Institute EMCCert DR. RAĆ EK continues the status of a Notified
Body under the new EMC Directive 2004/108/EC issuing Europe-wide acknowledged
Notified Body statements. EMCCert DR. RAŠEK has been officially recognized as a "Notified Body" by the
German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).
As a "Notified Body" according to the new EMC Directive EMCCert DR. RAŠEK issues NB statements of conformity per Annex III of the Directive 2004/108/EC.
In the new EMC Directive the involvement of the Notified Body (NB) is voluntary and the purpose of the NB is to help the manufacturer (or his authorised representative within the Community) by reviewing the technical documentation for apparatus drawn up by the manufacturer. The difference between any third party (e.g. an EMC test laboratory) and the Notified Body is that the Body has been designated by the competent authority of the Member State as competent to review the technical documentation. Member States verify that these Bodies meet the criteria given in Annex VI of the EMC Directive, i.e. that th NB can demonstrate the required level of competence, independence, impartiality and integrity.
