EFA SLOW LEMP PULSE GENERATOR TYPE TYPE SG LEMP-EFA 1

Pulse simulators according to the EuroFighter-specification SPE-J-000-E-1000 / chapter 4.3.4 (Issue 1,1991-02-14) are available from EMCComp DR. RAŠEK. This 'big bang' simulates direct lightning strokes into aircraft and was 'successfully' tested in the European Fighting Aircraft Program.

The mobile 19"-rack units deliver ungrounded positive or negative high energy pulses up to 40,000 ampères or 2,000 volts across resistive loads. The pulse amplitudes can be continuously adjusted and the pulse characterics can be varied to fit to specific requirements.

DSW LEMP GENERATORS TYPE SG LEMP-IEC-DSW

The EMCC DR. RAŠEK pulse generators SG DSW-0.1/4 and SG DSW-0.1/1/2 per IEC 61000-4-12 (EN 61000-4-12, IEC 1000-4-12) generate damped sine-waves with 100 kHz ("Ring Wave") respectively damped oscillatory waves with 100 kHz and 1 MHz frequencies.

The ring wave results from switching in power supply lines or from lightning. The single-event type and the decaying oscillatory waveform are the most significant parameters. This test applies to electrical and electronic equipment supplied by public or private networks.

The damped oscillatory wave appears as a consequence of switching with arcing and has fast rise times and high repetition rates and pulse durations. This test is applicable to electrical and electronic equipment in high voltage and medium voltage stations as well as heavy industry.

Both generators include adjustable pulse amplitudes. In addition the damped sine wave generator offers adjustable output impedance and adjustable phase position. The switching elements are maintenance free semiconductor components. Both units are supplied in a 19" chassis and can be supplied with 16 Amp coupling/decoupling network as an option with short delivery.

EMCComp DR. RAŠEK offers Pulse Generators according to MIL 1757 and similar lightning protection specifications. The generator simulates direct lightning stroke effects in aircraft and vehicles. The specified waveform is a composite pulse consisting of three particular pulses applied/triggered sequentially to the test sample.

EMCComp DR. RAŠEK offers both, the single pulse generators as well as the complete composite pulse generator for the "BIG BANG" test.
