EMC, Electrical Safety, and Environmental Simulation Testing for Radio Equipment and Components
The number of radio components being employed in all industries and all markets is growing sharply, and the radio spectrum is becoming more and more congested. Furthermore, radio technologies are developing at a rapid pace, presenting manufacturers with a constant barrage of new challenges. Today’s radio components, devices and terminal equipment must work safely and flawlessly. Devices must meet the specifications defined in legislation governing electromagnetic compatibility (in Germany, EMVG), and radio and terminal equipment (In Germany, FTEG). Products must comply with the European R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC, and country-specific standards, before they can be marketed.
EMCC’s specialists have decades of experience. Working in our accredited labs, they can perform radio testing on components and systems of all kinds – for example, those used in maritime shipping, mobile terrestrial radio, and short range devices. Our testing portfolio encompasses all relevant standards, including ETSI (EU), ANSI and FCC (USA), IC and RSS (Canada) and ARIB/MIC (Japan). Our offering also covers environmental simulation tests.
