Climatic Testing in our Environmental Laboratories

Your product is exposed to various environmental influences throughout its entire life cycle — including various temperature and humidity cycles. Through climatic testing we simulate these conditions in our environmental laboratories and subject your test specimens to various tests.

Why Climatic Testing?

Climatic testing is used for product quality assurance, to simulate storage or aging processes and to prove that a product is functional in a particular climate (e.g. heat and high humidity in the tropics).

With the help of temperature and climate tests, we determine whether your test specimen meets the requirements of changing environmental conditions and works reliably.

We are accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 by the DAkkS and offer a variety of climate tests.

Climatic test: frost formation on circuit board

Equipment:

  • Temperature chambers: 100 liter - 720 liter, -70 °C to 180 °C, temp. change rate up to 15 K/min
  • Thermal shock: 140 liter - 200 liter, -80 °C to 220 °C, transfer time <10 s
  • Climatic chamber: 180 liter - 8 000 liter, -70 °C to 180 °C, 10 to 98 % RH
  • Vacuum temperature humidity chamber: 800 liter, -70 °C to 95 °C, 10 to 95 % RH, 10 mbar absolute pressure
